Violation of the menstrual cycle and PMS

Menstrual disorders are very widespread and are the leading cause of women’s visits to the gynecologist. Over the past 50 years the number of menstrual disorders occurring during the reproductive period of a woman’s life has increased significantly. This is associated with a decrease in the number of children in the family and with the extensive use of various means of contraception, and a range of other factors. The reasons for menstrual disorders are diverse, sometimes it is simple to make the diagnosis, sometimes – very difficult. But the search for the cause of violations should be in any case, since the menstrual cycle is an indicator of the health of the female body, and is very sensitive to any changes in its condition. The concept of PMS (premenstrual syndrome) includes a set of symptoms that occur in women for 7 – 10 days before the start of menstruation and disappearing at the beginning of a new cycle. In severe PMS worsens the quality of life of women and this can lead to poor performance and psychological discomfort.
